Hi Terry,

>JavaScript has "typeof" that works like VFP VARTYPE.

I'll look into that. Thanks.

Internet using plain ASP at present, and we are in the process of converting it to ASP.net.

>Is the VFP COM installed and registered on the server?
Yes

>Is it a "shop" server or a lease server?
Good question - I don't know! I'm only involved with the VFP side of the operation :-(

>Is VFP installed on the server?
Only the runtime files, not the development version.

>What you you're doing seems pretty cool.
Thanks. The project has provided me with a fair amount of work for around 3 years now, and in that time I've taken the application from VFP6 to VFP8, and from SQL7 to SQL2000. I'd like the client to upgrade to VFP9, and convert remote views to cursor adaptors, but they are not ready for that yet.

Regards,
Alan
