Thanks - found it, the .AutoVerbMenu was set to .f. for some reason, and when I set it to .t. in the class, it still stayed .f. in the forms. Once I went through all the forms and set it to .t., it started working.

Now just to remove any traces of the intermediate kludge... which didn't really exist...
