My Outlook (2003) has gone belly up.

I have a mirrored C: and a backup (using a MS Back feature download long ago) and I restored the backup but all it did was to add the backup folders to my lists of folders and invite me to copy the ones I need/want to their proper places (I assume).

Anyway, the proper folders won't 'open', reporting an error that it is in use by some other program. No other program that I know of.

Anyone have a clue how to get out of this?
I started a "repair" for MS Office 2003 but that looks too radical. I really don't need my Office reset to original!!!

By the way, what they call a "backup" has to be the most unintuitive program I've ever met.
