It's a part of my framework-to-be, and it may need a tad too much other code included to be usable for the general public. As is often the case with the tools I write for myself, it doesn't look good, and there's a few things that it doesn't check for, so you actually may screw your grid. IOW, if you don't click the "generate" button, it remains an ordinary grid. Also, the synchronization (i.e. copying the properties between the metadata and the edited grid) is manual - you have to click a button, and to know which one to click. It also needs a way to add new tables - haven't bothered about it yet, just converted the analogous metadata from my FPD2.6 generator which then had something like a grid.
I may trim it down to something publishable - maybe in UT Mag in one of the following months.
>Too bad prg based classes don't work as advertized (at least for the two of us). The thing that I've discovered is that if I add the grid to my form at runtime using code in the form's init method, it works fine!
They work for me, but then I was building my grids like this before as well - just didn't have a builder, it was more copy & paste the code for a column, then change properties...
