Craig (or anyone else using Blogger)...

Do you know if Blogger supports horizontal stretching if someone is browsing at 1024x768 or higher?

I understand needing to design for 800x600, but one of my blog designing (and reading) pet peeves is a large amount of empty space on both sides. I use 1200x800 for everything, and I prefer to read blogs that will stretch horizontally for the main body of text.

My blog service (typepad) doesn't have easy support for it, and I'd actually switch blog tools/services if I could find one that did it with a simple option.
