http://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/280/No, it reminds me of something out of Porkies or similat teen films from the 50s, but I can't find a picture of the car that it was supposedly modelled from: probably something with wooden panels doe=n the side (I'm surprised I haven't seen one with this).
The new version they've ruined the style, with a straight air intake under the front bumper, instead of carrying the lines of the rad grill below, and bright modernistic rear lights with obvious reversing lights. Can't think why.
