I have worked a long time ago with scanning of barcodes and I remember that we could program the scanner to add the RETURN code to the scan code. Everytime we were resetting the scanner, we had to re-program it. Could it be something like that?

>I have written a program that requires a return key to recognise a scan. Its all working OK on 2003 Pocket PCs. Scan the item it recognises the scan , validates the scan and then looks for the next item. Great all working OK
>Run the same programme on Pocket PC2005 (Same device just 2005) and it doesnt work. It doesnt capture the RETURN (or ENTER) key. WHY NOT

>I have a number of TEXTBOXES. When i am manually entering the BarCodes i type in the bar code and PRESS RETURN. This is all OK in a PocketPC2003. (Built in VS2005). It works and goes to the Next box. Actually the next box is disabled but the previous textbox enables it, clears it and sets focus, and disables itself.

>Vusual Studio just does not capture the RETURN key. You can set it to capture it in VS but all that does is allow the Return Key to go to the next line in a multi line textbox.

>I cannot beleive that in a simple multi textbox programme in VS you cant use a return key to move to the next line.
