They are very big for proms around here. (In more ways than one!) My daughter was going to go to her prom this spring in a Hummer with a group but they decided not to because it was too expensive. She didn't say how much but if it was too much for 8 of them on prom night it must have been pretty pricey.

Someone said that we're adopting the US prom night now and maybe that's where they were going.
