Hi Claude,

I am not familiar with the form wizard, but by changing the value in a drop down list you will have changed the data in the table/view's field that the drop down list's controlsource is set to. So the form is telling you that this has happened. If you don't want the data to be changed then remove the controlsource from the drop down list. If you don't want to be prompted you'll have to dig in to the code and change it accordingly (and your on your own there as I have seen the type of code generated by the wizards and it's not pretty).

>I created a VFP 9 form with a drop down list of available values. When ever I select a new value via the drop down list and click on the "exit" button I get a dialogue box say that data has change, would I like to dave it. Form was created using the form wizard.
