See my previous answer. I got a little p*issed that my name was used. I called Jonathan Rabson and let him know I was displeased and told him about my annoyance with their marketing practices. He explained that from "time to time" (read: when they are short on material), they re-run interesting pieces of advise. As my name shows on Page 9 (Aug '06 issue) it is automatically included as "contributing editor".

He told me they won't use my name again without my knowledge or permission, and that he would talk to the people in charge of subscriptions to get my name off the annoying mailing list.

We'll see.

Maybe we should all start calling if we are annoyed enough. His phone number is in the last page.
