Way to go, Alex.

Even thought I agree with you, I have another suggestion.

If more of us contributed to the content, then perhaps we would be resubscribing to it also. And then we would not be so annoyed. IMO

>>I agree. And in my most recent FT, I didn't recongize a single name of any of the authors. I looked at the editorial board list and only saw one name I know.. Alex.
>>
>>>Yup. Did you notice the last FPA read like a "who's who" from Foxtalk for the last decade? <g>
>>>
>>>Our bookkeeper keeps track of all subscriptions and expiration dates, and keeps all of the bogus "reminder" renewal notices through the year. FT has acquired quite a stack and we're paid up through some time in 2007.
>>>
>>>Unless FT does something to improve content, though, we'll be cancelling early.
>>>

>See my previous answer. I got a little p*issed that my name was used. I called Jonathan Rabson and let him know I was displeased and told him about my annoyance with their marketing practices. He explained that from "time to time" (read: when they are short on material), they re-run interesting pieces of advise. As my name shows on Page 9 (Aug '06 issue) it is automatically included as "contributing editor".

>He told me they won't use my name again without my knowledge or permission, and that he would talk to the people in charge of subscriptions to get my name off the annoying mailing list.
>
>We'll see.

>Maybe we should all start calling if we are annoyed enough. His phone number is in the last page.
