I've been a member of the UT since its inception and I've noticed a pattern over the years that just amazes me. That pattern? the non-answer.

A user posts: I have a Kia that makes a noise when I turn left, what should I do?

The answers then fly:
1. Why do you need to turn left?
2. Heres a link to the Saturn web site, they might be able to help.
3. Turn slower when you go left so it might not grind.
4. Don't turn left .. you can accomplish the same thing with 4 right hand turns and it'd be safer to.
5. Check the oil in your transmission, I've heard that it helps.
6. Trade the car in on another one right now.

None of the answers directly address the question and it will then generate and degenerate into another thread:

1. I heard that turning right can cause problems too.
2. Which oil should I use
3. Only liberals would drive a Kia

What causes this phenomenon?
