SPT definately fits into dynamic SQL. I'd say that most SQLheads first thought on dynamic SQL is code that is executed via a call to sp_executesql or execute inside a stored proc.

>For clarification : in the SQL World when they talk about Dynamic SQL isn't that a way of saying queries generated by the business layer - i.e. outside of SQL Server - i.e. SPT or Remote views? If I cam using remote views, am I sending to the backend what SQL Serverheads would consider to be Dynamic SQL ?
