Hi Rick,

Exactly the same thing happend to me (including head hurting). Here is how I sovled it.

The problem is not within VFP. It is in the Windows Regitry.
1) Run regedit.exe from the Start Run menu.
2) Under HKEY_CLASS_ROOT, find .bmp and click on it.
3) In the right window select 'default', then select menu Edit Modify
4) In the value data box put in: paint.picture
5) Quit regedit, run your VFP application.

The weird thing is this used to work but now it makes a little icon with the name of the file I'm importing instead of putting the picture in there. I've tried including the CLASS claus with "Paint.Picture", as this was the OLEClass for the existing .BMPS (that are still working), but when I add a new record and run the SAME code I ran before, I get the little icon and the OLEClass is shown as a "Package".
