What is the CPU speed and memory of the hardware you running this on.
Also if you are running on a network what are its details, speed etc.

I am running similar queries on our next software version at present, the DBF has over 10M records and it extracts 2K records in 0.04 secs, it runs a bit slower accross the network, but not enough to worry about.

The hardware is a 3.0Ghz P4 with 512MB Ram & 40GB free disk space.
