Purple, like orange, has NEVER been one of my favourite colours. I wouldn't have one in either colour. You sure she's not objecting to this instead. Mind you, there is a nice plum-coloured one. There's a motorfactors shop on my way to work, with a plum one outside (presumably the boss's) but it's been pimped up and looks horrid. There's more chrome and bright-trim on it than on ANYTHING that came out of 50s/60s Detroit (e.g. filler cap, down the door pillars - many unlikely places)
