I haven't been able to offer a video available in streaming (a wmv format) and obtain a way to protect it. When such an option is provided, I cannot use the TransmitFile() ability, which would allow me to store the video file out of the IIS branch. So, for now, I would have the streaming version of the videos on the public branch of the server. This would not be really good. Those streaming videos would only be available for paying members. So, how can I adjust the infrastructure to support that?

The only I could see would be to store the streaming videos out of the IIS branch as well. But, TransmitFile() is a no go and I cannot find a way to stream the video in such circumstances.

Would my only option be to purchase a streaming video software which would have that capability to receiving a FAT path to know which file to stream?
