>FPD reads config.fp and VFP reads config.fpw, note the the w in the end. So you simply have a differnt line in these files, like RESOURCE=FOXUSERD.DBF in config.fp for FPD and RESOURCE=FOXUSERW.DBF in config.fpw for VFP.

Thanks Tore - good idea. Trouble is there won't be a VFP reso file, will there? as the user aleways says "no" to creating one. How do you automate the creation of the new one initially? Am I being dumb here?
