make a dictionary pictures
make subdictionay Product
put the picture ther as JPG with the articel numer or any other uniqe key
make a global variable Picture Path C\....\pictures

safe the Path starting at product\123.jpg in a memo field
retrive the pictures with any picture control.by adding the general path + the specific one.

advantage
you have no space limit
no picture limt
picture can be wher you want them even on the web
works fast

we do this with 100.000 pictures no Problem !!
