I've heard of a case of a youngster who tried to start his 50ccm bike while standing on a slope. His hitting the pedal didn't actually work - but a slight backwards push it got from returning backwards down the slope did (he released the clutch, it seems... well, there were some girls around, which explains a lot). It was possible because the spark on that engine fires at exactly upper point of the piston, not a few degrees earlier as is custom on most engines.
So he had the engine revving backwards. He jumped into the saddle, revved it a bit more, and released the clutch. Perfect hit - he toppled all the tree garbage cans behind him.
