Hi!
I need to assess security & bandwidth requirement for deploying an application on the internet. It will be used by 50 users in a company only. Please advise on the following issues:-

1) Should we connect the company server to the internet & access it directly or should we host our Data in a Data Center?

2) Bandwidth requirement for server. I heard broadband is not reliable for an online software deployment as it sometimes disconnects & upload speed is less. What choices are available & what is the standard adopted (e.g. lease line etc.).

3) For security, What kind of VPN? is deploying a VPN setup with router configurations enough. What kind of hardware/software based firewall?

4) what else to take care of?

Please make suggestions on any of the areas you have a grip on.

Thanks,
Aman
