You don't need to purchase and install multiple copies of VFP for every wrokstation just to run your application(s). Only the developer needs the VFP development environment.

I would recommend installing the VFP runtimes on every workstation - your network will be happier. You can find installation packages on the internet for the VFP9 SP1 runtimes only (no application is installed). Then when you copy your app and data to the shared drive / server, everyone is able to run that app without further installation issues.
