>Considering the size of London hotel room I stayed in last May (near Victoria Station) you, English people, are not too far apart from them. :) Can't say the same about the price though. :)))
I've no idea about that. I stayed in the French "Premiere Classe" and "Etap" hotels this year on my way to/from Brittany. They take some beating. No concierge - just credit card in a m/c - touch screen - book - get a ticket with entry code and room entry code. 1er Class had a plastic shower/wetroom/toilet "pod", in one corner of the room, that could have graced any space liner.
Price though - just 31-35 euros/night for family of 4 :-)
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
