.NET is a learning curve. It took me a while to understand the concept of postbacks. But, this turned out to be a very powerful concept. I wouldn't go back to something else once I got it working ok. If you develop for the Web, Web forms would be the way to go. WinForm, the way I understand it, would be for desktop applications.
