What is the proper syntax for the Insert Into SQL command useing SPT?

This will not work for me:

insertTSOTAGDateString = "Insert Into webprddt6.tsotagtblt(cono, recseq)" +;
" Select cono, serno From myTest"

I am inserting in an AS400 file and I get an error on the SQLEXEC line that there is a data type mismatch however, I know the field type is string for both AS400 file and my cursor.
