Lucien,
I have a simialar problem sometimes with my software running on customer PCs. Every so often I get a call saying every time they try to bring up the calendar control they get a message that the install shield program for my software is running. We found the problem happens when they install an old version of MS Office after my program has been installed.
The fix is to uninstall my program then install it again. That fixes it every time. I believe the problem is caused by an old DLL in the Office install overwriting a newer one that the calendar needs.
The uninstall/reinstall is no problem for us because the PC copy of the software is only client software. The real stuff is on the server.
HTH
John.

>Strange situation. All of sudden, the Windows installer tries to launch when I try to run or modify certain forms. In particular, it's forms that have a dbi-tech treeview ocx control on them. My app also uses InstallShield. I've been using these tools for years, no problem. As far as I can figure, it started after I installed the Softkey trial limiting software, and I removed that, no change. I've tried cleaning out the registry and a few other things but I still can't figure out what's going on. Has anyone seen this problem before and is there a solution?
