It is a stand alone computer, I have administator rights. Have deleted all resource files and reinstalled, and set the whole of the application data directories to read. sys(2005) shows the resource file as expected. Set resource to another file does not help. Very strange behaviour as I have not made any changes to the computer, it does not connect to the internet and is just used for development. Having deleted the resource file, it now forgets everythng including docking settings etc. Becoming very annoying, any other suggestions gratefully accepted. Interesting that the message says "cursor" foxresource is read only. Have also checked temp file settings and deleted temp files.
