Yes to both questions. The default BROWSE statement issues by the project manager displays the captions. After you opened the BROWSE from the project manager, switch to the command window. Edit the BROWSE command to read

BROWSE NOCAPTION

and press ENTER. This give you a browse with the actual field names.
