In addition, but not in contradicton, to what others have said: VFP _could_ work with the CLR, as has been demonstrated in the IronPython project. There is no part of VFP that could not be made to work with the CLR. That said, there are no plans, because it wouldn't be in MS's marketing interest, as they see it.
