While the topic of the add/remove programs has surfaced, may I say I find that utility to be one of the crappiest UIs of all.
It launches and expects nay DEMANDS that I wait while it reads the entire registry, when I already know I want to remove a product named "XYZ".
To make matters worse, on a machine with lots of software (or on a slow machine) that takes darn near forever.
It just makes me believe that certain utilities are left to the lesser experienced programmers.

Now when I try to remove them from the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel, the remove does not work. Is there a way for me to get rid of this by fiddling with the registry or something?
