Index file "c:\Cinemas\transactions.cdx" tag "Trusedt" is corrupted. Please rebuild it."

Yes.
Someone turns off workstation without proper shutdown.
The HD has a flakey spot that is consistently being used. Either for new .CDX entries or for where the first few records of the CDX are stored.
The workstation has "sleep" enabled for the network adapter.
I see Novell is the network. Possibly some incompatible/incorrect version of the component on the workstation?

good luck
