Go Vikes.

I watched much of that game. The Vikes played with great spirit. We'll see how good they are when they play the Bears.

Of course, that brain-dead lateral attempt on the punt return by Carolina helped the Vikes. That ranks right up there with Dwayne Rudd taking his helmet off, and Leon Lett touching a blocked punt, as the all-time stupid moves that cost their team a win.

Imagine....you have a 7 point lead, you're on the road, middle of the 4th qtr, and you are sure to get the ball on at least your own 45 yard line....and you pull a stupid stunt like that. I haven't heard if that was a planned play or just sometime that the player did - but my god, it was DUMB.
