I liked it when I was young but it's Sooooo dated now (and it went crazy towards the end, when they got to Earth). I Haven't seen any of the remakes (I don't get satellite TV) but it's GOTTA be better than the original!

Their uniforms, BTW, were a kind of yellowy-brown colour, I seem to recall, and the pilots wore brown suede jackets.
