http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322692/>Hello gurus,
>
>I am trying to rename a newly created domain from "union.exchange" to "union.com" When i execute the command: rendom /list (after i install suptools.msi from win2003 server cd-rom and executing this command from cmd prompt) the following error appears on my command line: "The Behavior version of the forest is 0 it must be 2 or greater to perform a domain name: The server can not process the request. :8245"
>
>what is this exactly? as described in the domain rename procedures (from
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/downloads/winsrvr/domainrename.mspx) a .xml document is saved after the command is succesful (which it did not). Since it couldn't process the request, it didn't save any .xml file. how could i work on this problem in order to follow up the procedures? I have Exchange 2003 server installed and realized of this mistake after domain was created .exchange instead of .com and exchange server was installed, and i would like to rename it in order to continue with the procedures of domain change. Sometimes my english could be hard to understand and follow, i hope you can understand mine.
