I think the problem with the machine I tried is that there's built in video on the motherboard and I'd installed a NVIDEO card as well. The system no longer sees the onboard option. If I have time I'll remove the standalone card and see if the onboard option gets resurrected. The dual-head might work in that case. But it was only a passing thought anyway....
