Despite what some people on this forum think, I read all kinds of things by all kinds of people. I don't particularly agree with the author's statement, but it doesn't make the article any less valid.

You're nitpicking. The central point to the article is that liberals are ignoring the threat posed by radical Islam. It doesn't matter what that springs from, the threat is there, yet the liberals choose to play politics and shoot messengers.
