There's been much talk of the likes of Harry Potter encouraging kids to read and the expectant throngs of kids waiting at the bookstores for each episode to be released. There was one UK commedian who, on a chat show, said "Ah, Harry Potter - the book that has inspired thousands of British schoolboys to pick it up and say, '300 PAGES! Sod off!"
