>Every time I work on an on-going project and need to build the EXE to take on site, one of the two databases that comprise the project is marked Read Only. Issuing a CLOSE DATABASES ALL or CLOSE ALL has no effect. Exiting VFP entirely and going back in also doesn't help. The only thing that solves the problem is to remove the database from the project and then add it back in. It is always the same database that gives me this problem--the other database always seems to behave itself.

Check if you specify explicitly how the database is to be included
into project, ReadOnly or not, when you are building the project.
Some things are better be left unknown...NOT!!!
