"A Series of Unfortunate Events" IS Lemony Snicket (he's the author)
Enid Blyton IS Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck stories. Don't forget her Famous Five series, and Secret Seven.
I just finished reading The Hobbit to my kids. My teacher read it to our class when I was 8-9 but good for 7s.
ANY Roal Dahl books will do -they're all good, and James and Giant Peach IS his. Don't forget The Witches, Danny Champion of the World.
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
