Well, two suggestions where made to you in this thread, to help you resolve your situation.
1. Using the world.application object model
2. Re-installing office to correct your OLE error.

I don't know what else to say. Bolding in in word.application model works under normal conditions, I used it many times.

>Office does not need to be reinstalled the whole program works fine it just I want to toggle bold on and off through out the report and no matter what I use it gives me an error. If I dont try to use the bold command then there is not a problem. I guess my main problem is the powers that be want the bolding
