Hi Perry,
>Just to reiterate Jim's comments. He is correct in analyzing what I was saying. There was a very direct, proven link between Afghanistan and the terrorists. They had their training grounds located in the open, in Afghanistan. There was very little outcry, if at all, when war with Afghanistan was first started.
Yes, there was very direct proven link between Afganistan and OBL training camps. Everyboy knew they were there.
What is NOT all that direct and well proven is the link between OBL and 9/11.
It is kind of strange that every deacent ConspiracyTheory about 9/11 sounds
better and more believable then the official story.

>But bush and co. decided that Iraq was a more important target. Despite all those who said he was wrong in that assessment. But they proceeded to take valuable resources from the fight in Afghanistan to support the Iraq effort. Thereby dooming both platforms to failure.
Afganistan went relatively easy at the beginning. Apetites grew.
Will se what future brings. I am not optimist.
