Thanks! I went through all the 3 links you gave. I scanned through the code too.

I guess it means the 'LOADER' exe file is different from the 'MAIN' exe. I was just wondering how apps like Norton, AVG and Ad-aware are able to do 'LiveUpdate' from their 'main' executables - or am I mistaken?
