I tried, but was unsuccessful -- mainly because there was so much there that I couldn't see where to start.

So, instead, I tried your second reference, which had some simple VFP code I could (and am) working with.

As it turns out, I've stumbled across the answer to my question .... I can get at the attributes using '@currency' and '@id'.
