Don't know about that. I've heard that Hillary is loosing her base because of her [past] support of the Iraq war. She still has hard time answering any questions about the war.
Who knows who will be running on the Republican side. But I don't think McCain is a lock. I don't think he is well thought of by the conservative republicans, although he is well respected for his military service. But I can see him winning by default, just because there is no one else right now.
