In my VFP8 application I use the Mabry FTPCtrl ActiveX module to perform certain ftp uploads/downloads.

Sometimes, all of a sudden the module has problem connecting to the server.

I turn off all the Firewalls and Virus / Worm Protections that I can see running on the Windows "System Tray", with no success. While another computer on the LAN, has NO problem connecting.

Once this problem occurs, the only way I have been able to get it working again, has been to ask the user to reinstall windows!! (an embarrassing situation to be in)

Is there some sort of a "Port Analyzer Utility" that can list "which ports are being used by which applications", and "which ports are being blocked by which application" ?

Of course, any other help or clue, would be greatly appreciated...
