Which is quite interesting as a pretext :). Somehow, the terrorists wouldn't know how to find Al-Jazeera or to circulate a few video tapes, so the only viable channel for them to see it would be the regular cable network?
To me it seems it was far more important that the remaining 99.99% of the viewers don't hear any of that.
