I would strongly advise against using [the DHTML edit control]. It's being removed for IE 7 and Vista...

Is this really true, Rick? I'd heard they were removing it from Vista, but isn't it still available as a stand-alone component? See:

I figure this means you just have to install it with the other "optional in Vista but necessary for VFP" components such as MSXML 4.0 .
