Let's assume:

A Remote View MyRv with fields MyId, Lastname, Firstname.

MyId is the keyfield defined as Identity(1,1) on the server.

MyId is set as KeyField - not updateable in the MyRv

Lastname, Firstname are updateable.

Insert into MyRv (Lastname, Firstname) Values ('Peter','Pirker')

TableUpdate(.t.,.t.) fails with "Cannot insert the value NULL into column MyId...."

I seem to have read about this somewhere but I just can't remember where,
so any help is appreciated.
