Yes, I can see that, but it still is not clear whether I can do what I want.

From Help: If True, the document being generated will be merged with an existing document especified in MergeDocumentName property. The thing is that the document being generated does not apply since I have no docoment to start from, if you understand what I mean. There is no o.pdflistener1.new method or some other way for me to start with zero documents, and THEN use the o.pdflistener1.MergeDocument method.
