IMHO: Those who are attracted to 'computers' have many more basic resources in other development environments to turn to, and once they've developed expertise in and affinity for a tool, human nature is to stay where you're comfortable (and some personality types that are exceptions to this). You could start from scratch, or there are some good books from the mid-90's that could be reworked with VFP9 era examples (should author and publisher permissions be obtainable).
